What is LamellenFix?
The LamellenFix system is a high-quality solution for securely and discretely fixing large timber fins and louvres to various façades. Developed by Austrian fixing specialists SIHGA, this innovative system provides an efficient, easy-to-use method for attaching timber fins that meets the highest European construction and safety standards.
Compared to conventional fixing methods, LamellenFix drastically reduces design time, comes with engineering certifications already in place, and shortens fabrication and installation processes — delivering both speed and reliability that alternatives cannot match.
Highly versatile, the LamellenFix secret fixing system can be mounted vertically & horizontally to timber, steel or concrete substrates. This makes it ideal for a wide range of construction applications, including commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

How does it work?
The system is designed with two identical parts that can be pre-assembled on the timber slat and the substrate. This pre-assembly ensures accuracy and reduces potential errors during fitting. The connectors are secured using a locking screw, which provides equal load distribution across the mounted fins. This guarantees the stability and structural integrity of the system, especially in larger-scale applications.
Designed and manufactured in Austria from anodised aluminium, the LamellenFix system is rust-free, dimensionally stable, and built to last. This ensures the system remains functional and aesthetically pleasing throughout its service life, even in challenging weather conditions. Due to its robust and reliable design, LamellenFix is particularly suited for commercial projects that require large timber fins over 60x80mm offering a secure, aesthetically pleasing, and structurally sound secret-fixing solution.

What are the key features?
- Simple & quick installation: Made up of two identical parts with a simple ‘click & lock’ principle, LamellenFix can be pre-assembled offsite and a mounting template is available for accurate positioning.
- Demountable system: Designed with circular economy in mind, the system can be fully dismantled and all parts recycled.
- Concealed fixing: Fixed at the back of the fin meaning there are no visible screws or brackets on the face of the façade, enhancing the visual appearance and giving the illusion that the fins are floating.
- Durability: The geometry of the connector is designed to allow water drainage which protects the timber, increasing its lifespan. LamellenFix is made from anodised aluminium; screws included are stainless steel, suitable for exposure class NKL 3 (use class 3).
What’s included?
LamellenFix is supplied as a system including all necessary stainless-steel screws, SIHGAFIX® (a high-quality fixing material), and clear, detailed assembly instructions. This comprehensive package makes procurement and installation onsite easier and more reliable.
The LamellenFix system stands out as an effective and user-friendly solution for anyone working with large timber fins, providing both security and efficiency, while maintaining high standards of quality, design and durability.
